About Homestretch Roofing
Homestretch Roofing was built on a simple question:
“What would I do if this were my own home?”
That mindset guides every inspection, every recommendation, and every project we take on. We’re a locally owned roofing company based in Louisville, Kentucky, and we believe homeowners deserve honesty, education, and craftsmanship — not pressure or shortcuts.
Homestretch Roofing didn’t start in the roofing industry — and that’s exactly why we do things differently.
Our founder, Mike, began his career as a CPA, working in financial statement audits and operations for large organizations. Over the years, he gained deep experience in construction-adjacent industries, large-scale development, and real estate. While working in executive operations, he also began buying and flipping homes, which meant dealing firsthand with contractors of all kinds — the good, the bad, and the frustrating.
Those experiences shaped everything.
After seeing too many homeowners misled, rushed, or left dealing with poor workmanship, Mike decided to build something better. Roofing stood out because it’s one of the most important — and misunderstood — parts of a home. Done right, it protects families for decades. Done wrong, it becomes an expensive headache.

When you call, we’ll gather some initial information and offer a rough ballpark when appropriate. From there, we schedule an in-person inspection to fully understand your roof, your home, and your future plans.
We don’t rush inspections. We don’t assume. And we don’t recommend work that doesn’t make sense.
If insurance is involved, we help homeowners understand the process clearly — including what’s covered, what isn’t, and who’s responsible for what. Our goal is to make sure nothing gets missed and no corners are cut, especially when it comes to building code requirements.
Storm Damage & Insurance Claims
After major storms, out-of-state companies often flood the area. While they may offer quick promises, they’re rarely around when warranties need service.
We are a local Louisville roofing contractor, working with trusted subcontractors and carrying proper insurance coverage. We stand behind our work because we’ll still be here.
We’ve helped homeowners navigate insurance claims where partial coverage was initially approved — and worked through the process to minimize or eliminate out-of-pocket costs whenever possible.

We also offer a customer-first repair credit program: if you have roof repairs completed with us and move forward with a full replacement within two years, we apply what you’ve already paid toward the replacement (restrictions apply).
